The author’s seventh book, and the fourth in the vegetable series by the Gloucestershire author Clive Dale
When the carrots heard two gardeners say that the garden at the front of the house was ‘Wonderful’, and that ‘Eating carrots help you see in the dark’, all the carrots except Crunchie wanted to go and see the front garden at night.
Crunchie decided to stay behind because he felt to was better than the other carrots and did not want to mix with them.
‘Crunchie Carrot’ promotes the School Values of ‘Friendship’, ‘Care’, and Consideration’. The story can be read to groups to aid discussions on the values.
Each book is written as an early reader for 5 to 9year olds but can be read and enjoyed by all ages.
At the end of each book there are a few sentences about: a) the ‘School Value(s)’, or Moral(s); and b) a few sentences about the Christian application.
