Leighton Buzzard Triathlon Club Website

When Michael became a member of Leighton Buzzard Triathlon Club, he found himself volunteering to be part of the Race Committee which is responsible for organising the hugely successful LB Triathlon for kids.

At the time, LB Tri had a very generic website, which was lagging a bit behind both technically and visually. The LB Triathlon did not even feature on the site, but the committee unanimously agreed that in order to promote the event properly, a web presence was required. Michael quickly volunteered to produce a new website for the club, including a mini-site for the LB Triathlon for kids.

Over time the site has grown in to a place where key information is available for members (via members only pages), and non-members alike. Recent updates have included a coaches hub, so all the coaches at the club have access to training plans and information relevant to specific disciplines, a ‘Meet Your Coaches’ page, so new members know who is responsible for their coaching, and downloadable bike routes for both coaches to use on training sessions, and members to use at their leisure.

Although the site was launched in 2015, it is still a work in progress, with lots more features and information being added all the time to keep the committee and members up-to-date.
